The Ferrari E-Building will focus its efforts on producing all-electric powertrains, EV traction batteries, reduction gears, and whole electric vehicles.
The building is four stories tall, 42,500 sq.m. (457,466 sq. ft.) large, and is located on the premises of the company’s Maranello HQ. It is declared as an eco-friendly structure with roughly 3,000 solar panels on the roof collecting 1.3MW of solar power.
Ferrari’s firstborn EV is scheduled for production in late 2025. In the meantime, the company will be polishing the underlying technologies using Purosangue and SF90 XX test mules.
