The Ferrari Purosangue offers a Handling Speciale package, which includes carbon-fiber Ferrari scudetti on the fenders and dark-gray wheels with diamond-cut accents. The package does not introduce new suspension hardware but utilizes software adjustments to the existing TrueActive Spool Valve (TASV) adaptive dampers.
The TASV system, which uses 48-volt electric motors to drive ball screws in line with each damper, can vary damping force and adjust ride height at each corner individually. Software modifications to this system reportedly reduce the Purosangue's body movement by 10 percent. The vehicle maintains the same Pirelli P Zero summer tires as the standard model.
Ferrari describes the Purosangue as a "high-riding sports car" rather than an SUV, highlighting its front-mid-mounted V-12 engine, rear-mounted eight-speed dual-clutch transaxle, and a reported 49/51 percent front-to-rear weight distribution. The Handling Speciale package is said to sharpen the vehicle's responses while maintaining everyday usability. The package reportedly allows more engine noise into the cabin and provides more assertive gear changes.
The Handling Speciale package is available for an additional cost.
