There are plenty of companies out there willing to jury-rig a Ferrari replica for you, getting it down to a certain degree of likeness, but now, the Italian carmaker decided it was time to get rid of third parties.
Ferrari’s history of cooperation with Amalgam Collection spans two decades, with the latter offering all kinds of toy models, ranging from the 156 F1 Sharknose racer to the Roma grand tourer. Starting now, customers may order a custom-built replica straight from Ferrari.
Amalgam Collection prices begin from U.S. $800 and may go well beyond $15,000 depending on the complexity of the project. These are just our estimates, too; the official pricing remains to be announced.
Only owners of real Ferrari cars will be privileged enough to order their replicas. The default reproduction size is 1:12, which means around 400 mm (16 inches) long for most models.
