So, a Ferrari Roma, a Bentley Continental and an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera walk into a bar…
Okay, that was probably uncalled for, but you should get the idea of what's going on. In its latest video, carwow compares three high-end sports coupes from Europe to find out which one has the most thrust in a straight line.
The Bentley has what could be described as the most straightforward drivetrain out of the three: a six-liter W12 driving all four wheels with 660 PS (651 hp / 485 kW) and 990 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. It weighs 2,273 kilos (5,011 lbs).
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera has the same maximum torque, but its 5.2-liter V12 pumps out a superior 715 PS (705 hp / 526 kW). It also weighs less at 1,845 kg (4,068 lbs), but makes do with rear-wheel drive.
Funnily enough, the Ferrari Roma is actually the least expensive of the bunch. It is also the lightest at 1,570 kg (3,461 lbs), but lags behind in power at 620 PS (611 hp / 456 kW) and torque at 760 Nm (561 lb-ft).
