Whoever ordered this Ferrari SF90 Stradale shipped to Brazil will decidedly want a healthy reimbursement for this heart-wrenching incident involving a tow trailer and an unexpected tail lift failure.
Apparently, the car was nearly delivered when the hydraulic struts suddenly gave way under the weight and dropped it to the ground. The video cuts off there and then, so the aftermath cannot be seen, but we would imagine assorted suspension damages and a few scratches, at least.
Even in Europe where it is made, the SF90 Stradale starts from €430,000. This specific example was trimmed to a very high spec, however, and Brazil import fees are quite serious, too. All things considered, we would definitely be interested in hearing the continuation of the story and the damages amount claimed.
The supercar debuted a couple years ago and proceeded to become the Italian marque’s new flagship. It sports a carbon body and uses a combination of a 4.0-liter V8 and three electric motors to churn out around 1,000 horsepower. With a power-to-weight ratio of 1.6kg/1hp, it proved faster than the LaFerrari on the Fiorano Testing Circuit.
