The Ferrari SF90 is a most unique supercar as it is, but the company is actually getting a new version of it ready to rumble, provisionally known only as the F173VS.
Rumor has it the last two letters stand for ‘Versione Speciale’, but that remains to be confirmed. However it is, here are some photos of the limited edition spotted on a mountain road in Italy not long ago.
A 488 Pista-inspired hood is probably the main part that stands out. Aside from looking sleek, it contributes to the total downforce of the build, of which, as we know, there is never too much.
Earlier SF90 VS prototypes had a standard rear end design and a disguised from fascia. In contrast, the latest vehicle sighted has a full body wrap and a new tail-end with what looks like an Assetto Fiorano rear wing.
The launch date remains to be announced, but reports are coming in that it will be sometime in 2023.
