Even conservative supercar brands like Ferrari have in-house customization departments nowadays, but Prancing Horse will still restrict your creative freedom to protect its reputation if it has to. Perhaps this is why the owner of this gorgeous SF90 Stradale had it brought to Carlex Design for a makeover instead.
The interior received a complete overhaul largely involving leather and Alcantara painted red, black and silver. The headrests were adorned with Ferrari badges, and the dashboard also received sprinkles of the same colors. The transmission tunnel underwent a stylish carbon-fiber treatment, and the whole ceiling was trimmed with artificial suede in two distinct shades.
Purists may hate the result – because this is what purists usually do – but one has to point out great attention to detail. Carlex uses multiple cool stitching pattens that stand out nicely against the materials, applies perforated leather where it is the most needed, and makes sure there are no disturbing uneven seams where materials overlap.
We are told the order took three weeks to complete.
