YouTuber Frame has posted a video detailing the supercar assembly routines going on at Ferrari’s Maranello HQ.
Judging by the video, the whole process is largely streamlined and not too different from that of any other automaker. The only exception seems to be that manual labor is involved to a much greater extent.
Other than that, what caught our attention is the exterior finishing. In most automobile companies, robots alone handle the entire process, but Ferrari actively involves human workers to ensure top-notch quality. Aside from that, they are also the ones applying any custom graphics, from simple pinstripes to complex designs. The main facility also employs people more than machines, which are mostly only allowed to move around heavy objects.
