Ferrari 308 vs. Ferrari Testarossa: The Exotic Race

The latest CarWOW episode features two supercar classics out of the 1980s, a Ferrari 308 and a Testarossa. How will they compare at a drag race?

The 308 was actually born in the 70s, but only became truly famous when the TV series Magnum P aired in the next decade. In turn, the Testarossa starred in Miami Police, making it every bit as recognizable and iconic as its rival.

Powering the Testarossa is a 4.9-liter IC engine rated at 385 PS (380 hp / 283 kW). In turn, a stock 308 normally makes do with a 2.9-liter V8 good for slightly over 200 PS (200 hp / 150 kW). Before you object, however, note that the example in the video has been swapped to an electric motor worth 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW) powered by a Tesla battery.

Watch the video and see how good the elderly duo still is, despite all the years.
