The production of the Fiat Cinquecento city car stopped in Italy around 20 years ago. Even though the compact vehicle was a predecessor of the modern Fiat 500, it wasn’t particularly impressive in terms of design or engine power. As such, it was quickly forgotten.
However, some tuners have set out to prove that the car was capable of much more than that. They replaced its stock engine with a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R superbike engine capable of 250 hp (186 kW) and 12,000 RPM.
Needless to say, there were some visual upgrades, too. The car received fender flares, new wheels and tires, and a revised front.
The stock interior has been ditched for a single driver’s seat, a simple dashboard, a racing wheel and a safety cage.
Be sure to watch the video and see the reincarnated Fiat Cinquecento in action!
