The compact sedan/saloon Fiat Cronos, which came out in early 2018, just received a sportier-looking sibling named the HGT – and it is all about the looks this time around.
The newcomer is based on the Precision spec and boasts black side mirrors, a rear spoiler and new wheels. It ships with a 7-inch multimedia by default, as well as a color LCD screen on the dashboard, climate control and other premium features. Options include leather seats, side airbags, reversing cam and much more.
The tech stays standard: a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine rated at 135 hp (100 kW) sends the torque to the wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. A more affordable trim version ships with a 1.3-liter engine with 101 hp (75 kW) and a choice between five-speed manual and DCT.
On a side note, the Fiat Argo hatchback, which is technically similar to the Cronos, has had a sports trim with tweaked suspension since the launch.
