The British subdivision of Fiat has released four special Fiat 500 ‘Santa’s Little Helper’ vehicles onto the streets in London. Their sole purpose is to help the people wrap their gifts for Christmas.
To that end, every car carries a generous supply of festive wrapping paper, ribbons and scissors. They are also gift-wrapped themselves, so you shouldn’t have any trouble spotting them in the traffic.
The service is completely free of charge and is available in and around the old city of London. You may also request a Fiat 500 to come by your place by using the #WrappedByFiat hashtag in a social network post.
Other manufacturers have also been known to use gift wrapping as a means of advertisement. For instance, Toyota has recently announced it was going to sell 500 rolls of the same camo film its new Supra sports car used to wear during its development phase. The company said it would redirect the profits to charity.
