Small, but angry: Abarth unleashes another hot hatch

Abarth has celebrated its 70th birthday by releasing yet another custom Fiat 500 series, titled the Abarth 695 70° Anniversario. To mark the year the company was founded, the production run will be limited to exactly 1,949 units.

The project has the Abarth 695 spec at its base, which means 180 hp / 134 kW at the crank, 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 6.7 seconds, and 225 km/h (140 mph) top speed. The 70° Anniversario complements the above with a 10-way adjustable rear wing, 17-inch wheels, four-piston Brembo brakes, a new active-valve exhaust system, and a commemorative paintjob. The cabin also does its best to remind the viewer about the first Abarth-branded sports cars.

The interior now houses sports seats and serial number plaques, as well as a climate control unit, a 7-inch multimedia display, a telemetry system, and specially designed mats.

The asking price in Italy is €34,600.
