New Abarth 595 versions pay homage to a Yamaha motorbike and an exotic car

The Abarth 595 hatchback has gained two special editions at once: Monster Energy Yamaha and Scorpioneoro. Both are quite flashy, so let us delve into details.

The Monster Energy Yamaha uses the 595 Turismo spec as the starting point and improves upon it with a blue-and-black motorsports livery reminiscent of the Yamaha YZR-M1. The racing motorbike brought its Japanese team silver at the last year’s MotoGP Constructors’ Cup. The limited series also boasts 17-inch black wheels and bi-color seats adorned with special stitching and graphics.

things stay stock under the hood, which in this case means a 1.4-liter turbo engine rated at 165 hp (123 kW) and 230 Nm (170 lb-ft) of torque. The car hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.3 seconds with manual and 7.4 seconds with DCT. Both top out at 218 km/h (135 mph).

Pre-order books are already open for this conversion starting from €26,700 – the same amount of money buys you an entry-level 595 Turismo. The planned production volume is 2,000 units.

The black-and-gold Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro is technically identical to the version described above and emerges in the same production quantity, but it comes priced from €29,200. The 17-inch gold-tinted wheels it sports evoke associations with the exotic Autobianchi A112 Abarth Gold Ring series that emerged in 1979 limited to just 150 units. Each car boasts black interior trim with golden stitching and a plaque bearing the serial number of the chassis on it.
