Following the reveal of the environmentally clean Fiat 500 Convertible a few months ago, the Italian carmaker has introduced its hatchback counterpart. The new 500 E currently ships in “la Prima” spec, which starts from €34,900.
Compared to the previous generation, the latest Fiat 500 sports redesigned exterior and cabin, as well as a new powertrain. The latter includes a 120hp (90kW) electric motor and a 42kWh traction battery, which translates into 320 kilometers (200 miles) of WLTP-rated range. The top speed is capped at 150 km/h (93 mph), and getting from zero to 50 km/h (0-31 mph) takes 3.1 seconds.
The la Prima spec additionally boasts panoramic roof, a rear spoiler, LED headlights, cool-looking 17-inch wheels, assorted chrome décor, and eco leather trim inside.
The new Fiat 500 series will also ship with a wide assortment of electronic assists, as well as the UConnect 5 infotainment system equipped with a 10.25-inch display.
