Fiat has expanded the 500e range to include a four-door asymmetrical compact hatchback and a new spec called Action, which slashes the price nearly in half.
The new Fiat 500 3+1 has an additional suicide rear door that you can open for convenience after opening the front one. The mod makes the car mere 30 kilograms (66 pounds) heavier, which the company claims affects neither the handling nor the range.
When the all-electric 500e premiered, it came to us in an expensive trim version called “la Prima”. It has LED headlights, 17-inch wheels, chrome details and power seats. It also offered such niceties as an infotainment system with a large screen, a wireless gadget charger and an electronic assist package.
The new spec called Action has 95 hp (70 kW) instead of 118 hp (87 kW) and starts from €19,900, which is a whopping €17,600 below the la Prima.
