Stellantis-owned aftermarket company Abarth has announced the launch of its first fully electric car dubbed the New 500. Essentially being a modded Fiat 500e, it will hit the spotlight on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
Abarth officially confirmed working on the model this last spring. At around the same time, car spotters were able to snap photos of the prototype car (see the gallery here).
It is official that the Abarth New 500 comes equipped with upgraded suspension, performance brakes and a special audio module imitating racecar engine soundtrack. The company’s signature body kit, allow wheels and trim details are also high on our list of expectations.
