Kahn Design teaches the Fiat 500e a lesson in badassitude

The Fiat 500 is a tame urban mini-hatchback that looks neither sporty nor rugged in its stock form, but British tuner Kahn Design found a way to help it channel its inner beast.

Working with the all-electric 500e model, the team outfitted it with a gloss-black radiator grille looking rather unusual against a matte-black bumper, and semicircular headlamps resembling eyes. A satin grey hood rounded things off at the front end, resulting in a truly unique and memorable aesthetic very unlike that of the original car.

To complement the image, 18-inch Fondmetal light alloys slotted into the arches, and the suspension was dropped by 25 mm (1 inch) courtesy of H&R springs. A badass rear bumper rounded off the modifications.

The interior was allowed to stay stock except for new eco-leather trim on the seats and an elegant dual-spoke steering wheel.

A basic treatment like this will set you back £10,000, Kahn says.
