Karmann Davis 600 is an affordable, yet advanced home away from home

German company Karmann Mobil has unveiled another version of its compact-sized Davis camping upgrade. Called the 600, it joins the lineup of similar travel solutions and fits in vans just 6 meters long. It also packs everything needed for 2-4 people on board.

The default layout has two separate beds that you can push together or keep that way. A wet cell is provided along with a shower nozzle, a bio-WC and a retractable sink. The clothing doesn’t have to get crumpled thanks to a full-size wardrobe, and there is a fully featured kitchen on board with two burners, a sink and a fridge. Multiple cupboards are provided for storing the utensils and the foodstuffs.

Opting for a version with a raised roof gets you two extra beds. Other options mentioned in the release are TV, a multimedia system of your choice, diesel heating and coffee-tinted micro-textile trim on most touchable surfaces for an added dose of comfort.

The base price of the Karmann Davis 600 does not exceed €60,000. You need to have a compatible van to proceed, like the Fiat Ducato shown here.
