Italian coachbuilder Caselani has stocked up on a new styling kit for the current Fiat Ducato, which makes it look like a classic Fiat van from the mid-20th century.
Responsible for the design is none other than David Obendorfer, whom you may know from his Citroen-inspired retro styling jobs. Working with a Fiat this time around, he devised a new front end for it complete with round LED lights, a nostalgia-inducing hood cover and wheel arches with visible creases. The upper body, the glass and the cabin remained as is.
The result is currently on display at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon in Germany (open since Aug. 29). There has been no mention of the prices, but you can already head to the vendor’s website to preorder one. It seems like any Ducato model, diesel or electric, will do. In fact, the kit might fit any of the vans based on the same platform, including but not limited to the Ram ProMaster, Iveco Super Jolly, Citroen Jumper, Peugeot Boxer, and Opel Movano. Of course, you’ll need to ask Caselani just to make sure.
