Fiat Panda Waze is a new city car

The Fiat Panda family now has a new member, a city car model named Waze. The vehicle comes equipped with the black aerodynamic body kit, doorknobs, mirror holders, roof railings, and wheels.

Despite the abundance of the dark color, Panda is quite a friendly car to have at your side, since it has Waze. Waze is a GPS navigation software with social network features that can integrate your phone with the car for a number of added benefits.

To begin using Waze, you need to install the app on your smartphone and then put the smartphone into the dedicated dashboard holder. The device will then plug into the car circuitry using the Panda Uconnect feature, allowing you to control certain functions directly from your phone. Available controls include multimedia and radio, weather forecast, photo sharing, tire pressure and fuel level monitoring, etc.

The Waze App can also build the quickest route to your destination, taking the traffic jams into consideration and using the aggregate traffic data collected from 100,000,000 of users. All Waze users can also share information about speed camera locations, gas prices, road maintenance in progress, police locations - all of the above earning the application the “most socially connected” title.

On the inside, each vehicle comes with new seat upholstery and a titanium-grey dashboard design. The base equipment includes tire pressure monitoring, climate control, Bluetooth, four airbags, HSA, and ESP. The hood cover opens to reveal a 1.2-liter gasoline engine good for 69 hp / 51 kW, working in conjunction with a manual transmission.

The manufacturer plans a gradual release of the new Fiat Panda Waze on all markets in Europe. The vehicles will also gain access to Mopar Connect services that offer road emergency assistance, stolen car location, remote speed monitoring etc.
