The much-hyped archrival of the Tesla Model Y is currently exhibited at the automaker’s booth at the CES 2020 show in Las-Vegas, USA. Here are its main specs.
The Fisker Ocean comes powered by a large 80-kWh battery that gives it 300 miles (483 kilometers) of range. Charging times are unknown, as are motor specs, but the car needs as little as 2.9 seconds to sprint 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h). the company says both 2WD and 4WD versions will be available for purchase.
The interior is dominated by a digital dashboard and an enormous infotainment display. There is also a HUD display with a special Karaoke mode that shows the lyrics of the song currently playing. There are two wireless charging stations and a grand total of five mechanical buttons. Fisker also briefly mentions a ‘self-driving system’ without giving further details.
The sales launch is planned for late 2021, but the actual first shipments will not be made until 2022. Pre-orders are already available for anyone willing to spend at least $250 USD. The minimum price tag is $37,499, which is pretty democratic compared to the Tesla Model Y and the Ford Mustang Mach-E.
