The floundering U.S. car company is apparently desperate for income, even if it means selling new vehicles for a small fraction of their original price.
According to a number of recent reports, Fisker Inc. has been sending letters to its employees offering to buy an Ocean EV for as little as $20,000, regardless of the trim level or the powertrain.
When it was just announced, the Ocean EV started from $39,000 in its most basic trim. The price has since been slashed to $25,000 as the company plunged into insolvency and had to cease all production.
