A commercial transports expo has recently opened its doors in Isfahan, Iran. One of the exhibits is a mid-size tip-truck named Zamyad Padra+, a licensed copy of the China-made Foday Lion F16.
In its home country, the truck has been produced since 2016 with a 2.4-liter petrol and a 2.8-liter diesel engine to choose between. Its Iran counterpart makes do with a locally assembled, naturally aspirated mill that produces 95 PS (94 hp / 70 kW) from its 2.4 liters of displacement. From the technical point of view, it is an evolutionary version of Nissan’s Z24 block.
The manufacturer has not announced the carrying capacity of the truck yet, but similar vehicles tend to be rated at 1 metric ton (2,200 lbs) or close. Tall sidewalls enable the transportation of large cargo.
