India-based car manufacturer Force Motors has added a new production car to its portfolio. Called the Citiline, it is a frame-based off-roader that tries to pass off as a local Mercedes G-Class substitute.
Rather than being an independent development, the car is a derivative from the Trax Cruiser model, but with 10 places inside instead of 13. Also, unlike the Cruiser, the new SUV has passenger seats facing forward and not each other.
Powering the Citiline is a 2.6-liter naturally aspirated Mercedes engine rated at 91 PS (90 hp / 67 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft). The transmission is five-speed manual. For options, you can get an AC and power windows – that’s all.
Prices start from 15.1 Rs Lakh.
