Chinese car tuning company IAT has released what could be called the world’s craziest take on the Ford F-550 pickup truck, called the Karlmann King.
The armor-clad vehicle is full 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) wide and weighs as much as 6 metric tons (13,227 lb). With a weight like this, you may as well plow right through the traffic…
The interior of the Karlmann King sets its own standard in armored vehicle luxury. There is a soft background lighting, folding tables, a fridge and a TV screen that can be retracted with a press of a button.
The engine bay is dominated by a 6.8-liter V10 engine rated at 400 hp (298 kW). Not too bad, but factor in all the armor, and you’ll get a top going speed of just 87 mph (140 km/h).
The car itself costs U.S. $2,000,000, but the price skyrockets to $3,800,000 with all options included.
