Seether bass player’s 1930 Ford Model A Hot Rod to go on sale in January

A unique hot rod that used to belong to Dale Stewart, bass guitarist of the rock band Seether, will go on sale at the Barrett-Jackson auction in the USA on January 18, 2019. Dale used to go on world tours with his restomodded ride.

The car is a classical 1930 Ford Model A at heart, restored to peak condition by Classic Car Studio. The team gave it a brand-new chassis, cut and extended the frame, and removed the roof, only leaving wooden planks in its place. The rest of the car is mostly made of high-tensile stainless steel.

The interior of the retro vehicle looks unusual thanks to exposed metallic panels, minimalistic dashboard design, a custom steering wheel, and custom seats. All the above has been hand-formed.

The front of the car immediately draws attention to the exposed 5.4-liter HEMI V8 engine coupled with an automatic transmission.

Among other things, the Ford Model A features performance brakes, new suspension, and custom wheels (18” in front, 20” in the back) clad in Firestone Deluxe Champion tires.

The seller doesn’t provide any information about the performance of the car or its starting price.
