A group of Ford employees has recently uploaded a YouTube video featuring a souped-up Ford Tourneo Connect they built using some of the RS components.
The recreational vehicle boasts sporty pinstripes on the outside and has sports seats in the cabin. Its trunk area houses a roll cage and two spare wheels.
Perhaps most notably, the custom build uses the suspension, engine and brake system borrowed from the first-generation Ford Focus RS. We are talking about 215 horsepower (160 kW) and 310 Nm (230 lbft) of torque here. The upgrade enables it to accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in seven seconds flat.
The engineer team never revealed how expensive the conversion was.
