U.S.-based car customizer Creative Bespoke just put up a unique 1949 Ford F1 restomod for sale on its website. The car, fully restored yet stylistically true to its ancestry, could be yours for around U.S. $50,000.
The scope of modifications is so great, we will only touch upon some of the highlights. For instance, Creative Bespoke stripped the car of both side mirrors, both aprons and the radio antenna. It then replaced the ventilated hood cover with a solid one and added a sports exhaust system. The round taillights were ditched in favor of stylish oval LED lights built into the rear fenders.
Lift the front lid, and you will see Chevrolet’s 383 Small Block V8 engine toiling in place of the stock one. The detailed specs are not available, but one can easily imagine it being several times as powerful as the original mill.
The restomod rides on a set of chrome-coated Foose Wheels with Wilwood brakes concealed behind the spokes. The suspension is as low as they get – or at least as low as this particular model goes.
The cabin of the 1949 Ford F1 by Creative Bespoke looks gorgeous, with a fine white leather trim interspersed with occasional black accents. Everything, including the steering wheel, the dashboard and the seats, looks retro and genuine.
A superb work, wouldn’t you say?
