Newest upgrade shapes the Ford Super Duty into an expert rock crawler

Ford has unveiled a new upgrade package for its F-Series Super Duty pickup trucks. Called Tremor Off-Road, the company claims it will make your truck ‘the most off-road-capable Super Duty ever’. Supported models include the 2020 F-250 and F-350 equipped with an AWD system and either a 7.3-liter gasoline V8 or a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel. Sales will begin later this year.

On the outside, the Tremor Off-Road package is easily recognized due to the shorter front spoiler lip, new wheels, massive-looking running boards, and special badges.

The offer covers 18-inch wheels with a matte look, lower bumper guards, 35-inch off-road tires, a 51 mm (2-inch) suspension lift kit, custom twin-tube shock absorbers, and progressive springs.

The transmission also benefits from several enhancements and supports a new mode called Rock Crawl. Last but by no means least, the truck gains differential locks on both axles.

The Tremor Off-Road boasts a whopping 274 millimeters (10.7 inches) of ground clearance, the best approach and departure angles in the entire Super Duty range, and the class-leading fording depth of 838 millimeters (2.75 feet), the manufacturer claims.
