Check out this amazing 90-year-old Ford truck restomod

Time has shown that there is nothing auto restoration shops cannot do given enough time and finances. Even so, bringing a 1931 Ford Model A truck back to top condition takes the best of the best.

Created by Mike Burroughs, the car made its first public appearance at the SEMA show a couple of years ago. The tuner has managed to preserve its original cab, radiator grille and some of the hood while replacing the chassis and most of other parts with purpose-designed modern components.

The wheels deserve a special mention here. The set comes from Mazda-branded Le-Mans prototypes and ensures perfect traction in all conditions. The centerlock nuts lend the vintage ride another dose of charm.

Further enhancements include new suspension based on H&R coilovers, a five-liter V8 borrowed from a Mustang GT, and a four-speed manual gearbox. Mike Burroughs introduces a custom supercharger setup here, squeezing 800 horsepower (596 kilowatts) out of the drivetrain. Imagine that kind of power in a nearly 90-year-old body!
