Ford has come to the 2021 Auto Shanghai show in China with a new coupe/SUV model named Evos. The company hinted that the car could replace several other models on the current lineup.
The Evos sports an original overall design with a large radiator grille, slim headlights with an LED stripe running along the hood rim, pull-out door handles, and 19-inch wheels.
Moving over to the inside, there is a giant 27-inch display that combines the 12-inch digital dash screen and the central display. The operating system on board is Ford SYNC + 2.0, which supports Baidu AI and OTA updates.
Powertrain specs remain a mystery, as does pricing. As a premium coupe/SUV model, it could ship electrified.
The Evos is Ford’s first production car nearly completely designed and built in China. It will be produced and sold on that market first and foremost, and there is no clear mention of international availability. In theory, the Ford Evos could replace the Mondeo in Europe and the Fusion in the USA if it were to be released there.
