The American company Ford intends to issue the electrocrossover, the first in the history of a brand, in 2020. The model will be equipped with new ion-lithium batteries. It is expected, that the power reserve of the future car will be about 480-500 kilometers.
The management of Ford made the similar decision against the background of the growing popularity of cars in a body of the crossover and a new vector of the world automotive industry, aimed at changeover of the majority of models to electrodraft. Last year, demand for Ford crossovers grew approximately by 31 percent.
