NHTSA puts names on car brands with the most recalls

According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Ford and Stellantis have by far the worst track record when it comes to mass recalls.

Both corporations had scored 41 recall campaigns each by mid-August this year. Ford has seemingly fared even worse than Stellantis, with 3.7 million vehicles pulled for emergency repairs over this period as opposed to the other company’s 2.6 million.

If you think such a shoddy approach to quality control has to affect revenues, you are on to something. Ford has reported spending a ridiculous $2.3 billion on recalls and warranty repairs in the first half of the year, or roughly $25 million every single day.
