Ford CEO Jim Farley made an interesting statement last weekend as he shared the company’s current strategy on SUVs and off-road vehicles.
He said that the company was aiming at maximizing the power and performance of its Tremor and Raptor lineups, envisioning itself as “the Porsche of off-road.”
In other words, these vehicles will no longer be just “good enough” – they will be designed and built to be enjoyed by off-roading enthusiasts all over the world who don’t mind paying a hefty premium for their features.
