Overtime Traxx driver chops Ford Aerostar from below, puts it on tracks

This Apocalypse-ready, insanely powerful dual-engine ride has once been a mundane Ford Aerostar – and it is up for grabs right now as long as you can afford paying $105,000 for it.

The man who carried out the conversion once drove Overtime Traxx monster trucks, so he knew quite a bit about quality customization and performance tuning. He started off by chopping the body of the MPV from below to accommodate tank tracks there. He ended up having to chop it almost up to the door handles and then just decided to weld the hinges shut – but you can still get inside through a hatch in the roof, which opens like a normal hood would.

The so-called cabin (we understand the term to be a stretch, but still) houses bucket seats, a redesigned dashboard with instruments for both engines and control sticks instead of a conventional steering wheel. Aluminum sheets fulfil the function of floor mats.

Did we say ‘both engines’? We did. The beastly minivan comes powered by two naturally aspirated Chevrolet Big Block eight-bangers with 572ci (9.4L) of displacement each. The tracks get slammed with something like 1,400 hp (1,044 kW).
