Trudging through sheer wilderness: this is what, according to Ford, its resurrected sixth-gen Bronco lives for. Or is it? Watch a couple of SUVs ascend the Rubicon Trail and make you own conclusions.
A witness who saw a two-door and a four-door Bronco climbing up the 22-mile (35.4-km) long 4x4 trail in Sierra Nevada filmed both videos. One of them clearly exposes a number of issues with the testing approach: the cars take roundabouts, sport tires that are much harder inflated than normal, and pick routes with suspiciously flat relief.
What do you think? Is the new Bronco really all its manufacturer hypes it to be?
