The Bronco sighted today sports a rather unusual roof – could it be a new version?
Industry observers have voiced different opinions on what the U.S. marque may be trying to do with its iconic SUV. The hypothesis we like the most is that Ford could be testing a special quick-release mechanism for the roof. Taking the top off your Bronco and then putting it back on when needed is great when you know you can do it in a fast, safe and simple way.
The disguise seems to conceal a four-section roof that one person could be capable of taking off within a few minutes. Then again, perhaps we are wrong and there is a power-assisted soft top under the camo, kind of what Jeep is offering (see video).
