The talented team over at Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) has fitted over 70 Ford F-150 V8 Raptors with supercharger upgrades, and now, the time has come to switch attention to the 2021 Ford Bronco.
The company only plans to build 24 such off-roaders. The Hennessey VelociRaptor V8 Bronco series will pack five liters of displacement, 760 PS (750 hp / 559 kW) of power and the standard ten-speed automatic transmission. Going from zero to 60 mph (0-97 km/h) will be possible in around 4.5 seconds.
The cars will benefit from suspension improvements, a new deck lid, widened arches, new alloys, a stainless-steel exhaust and an expensive leather cabin makeover. Both three- and five-door variants will be offered.
The production will begin in 2021. The minimum asking price of U.S. $225,000 includes the donor vehicle with a soon-to-be-swapped V6, all of the mods listed above, and extensive road and dyno tests.
