Devoted retro car fans spare no expenses to maintain them in tip-top condition, and this semi-centenary Bronco is a perfect example.
The owner of the classical off-roader fitted it with a truck bed taken from an even older 1966 Ford F100. You will be forgiven for not noticing it, however, because the entire car has been torn down to the last screw and put back again, leaving no memory of a scratch, dent, or rust. The tender shade of green is not accidental, either: it is the latest color made officially available for the new Ford GT. Aside from just making it look good, it helps the Bronco pass off as an OEM vehicle.
The latter bit is especially ironic considering the slew of technical upgrades installed. Naming just the basics, there are sports-grade disc brakes, power steering, a 110mm (4.3”) suspension lift, a multimedia system with Bluetooth support, and even a modern HVAC system. A 5.0-liter V8 toils under the hood, assisted by an Air Gap intake tract and a MagnaFlow exhaust. A four-speed A/T pushes the momentum to the wheels, and meaty Toyo M/T Open Country rubber helps deliver it to the ground, no matter what variety.
