Ford had to postpone the shipment of the new Bronco late last year after a hardtop supplier was forced to reschedule its production plan due to the pandemic. Another delay has been officially announced now.
Those customers who were unlucky enough to order their Bronco with a black modular roof or a dual hardtop will now have to either wait until 2022 or specify a different roof type before April 8, 2021. Valid replacement options for faster shipment include color hardtop and black soft top.
There is no ignoring the fact that Ford makes a good effort to sweeten the pill: all affected buyers will be getting 200,000 bonus points that they will be able to spend on personalizing their car, on top of some free options.
