Delayed Start: Ford launches Bronco production after a pause

As you may have heard, Ford had intended to begin the production of the new 2021 Bronco SUV in May, but it never happened due to shortages of parts. A month and a half later, the first cars have finally begun rolling off the lines.

The company specifies that it produces two- and four-door versions of the off-roader simultaneously, so regardless of which one you bought, you may expect shipment in a few weeks. That is, if you were quick enough to order one as soon as possible; the waiting line is so long that an order placed today will be delivered in 2022.

Customers have two powertrains to choose between right now. One is a turbocharged inline-four available with a ten-speed A/T and a manual transmission. The other one is a twin-turbo V6 only obtainable with the A/T. Those who opted for the stick shift and/or ordered the wilderness-ready Sasquatch package will have to wait the longest.

Prices start as low as U.S. $29,995 for the entry spec.
