In the fall of 2020, before the new Ford Bronco could even arrive in the showrooms, Hennessey Performance launched a tuning kit for it rated at 760 PS (750 hp / 560 kW). Now, it has launched another, more wallet-friendly option.
The Hennessey VelociRaptor 400 Bronco keeps its usual six-cylinder engine under the hood, but benefits from various intake and exhaust upgrades, as well as a software update. As a result, it delivers around 411 PS (400 hp / 298 kW) and 682 Nm (503 lb-ft) of torque, and takes the off-roader from zero to 97 km/h (60 mph) in 4.9 seconds.
Aside from the extra power, the car boasts 18-inch aftermarket wheels wrapped in giant tires, redesigned bumpers, new headlights, and automatic side steps. There are Hennessey logos on the body along with the name of the special edition.
Prices start from U.S. $80,000, donor vehicle already included.
