2021 Ford Bronco Sasquatch gets dyno-checked for actual performance

Late Model Restoration (LMR) has gotten their hands on a 2021 Ford Bronco with a factory Sasquatch Package pre-installed and a 2.3-liter turbo-four under the hood mated to a 10-speed A/T. The goal was to test it on the dyno stand for efficiency.

Note that the presenter makes a mistake in the video, reporting the power of the car as 278 PS (274 hp / 204 kW) and the torque as 420 Nm (310 lb-ft). Both numbers are valid for regular gasoline. In reality, the high-octane fuel used in the test lets the engine pump out 304 PS (301 hp / 225 kW) and up to 441 Nm (325 lb-ft).

The Bronco ran on its seventh gear for the duration of the test and managed to hit 228 PS (225 hp / 168 kW) at 4,750 RPM and 412 Nm (304 lb-ft) at 3,410 RPM. This means that the transmission losses amounted to 25% for power and 6.5% for torque.
