40-year-old, barely driven Ford Bronco set to go for $60k-$80k

A 1982 Ford Bronco will hit the auction block in early 2022 with only 3,500 miles (5,600 kilometers) on the counter, and is expected to fetch between $60,000 and $80,000 surpassing the price of the new Bronco.

The SUV sports a brown body with white accents, occasional light brown inserts and chrome trim pieces. The interior shares the same warm gamma. The photos suggest that neither the paint nor the interior finish have any significant wear on them.

Power comes from a 5.8-liter V8, which was the largest displacement available in that model year of the Bronco. It produced 158 PS (156 hp / 116 kW) and could work with either a three- or a four-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive system with lockable differentials at both axles were included in the standard equipment.

An addition to the above, the elderly Bronco comes equipped with sway bars, hydraulic power steering, underbody protection, AC, radio, a sound system, and a rear bench that you can fold down.

Up until 2018, the off-roader had only one owner who almost never drove it and kept it in an aircraft hangar. We are also told the car never came out in winter.
