Auto shows tend to have their best treats exhibited inside pavilions, but the Buffalo Auto Show in Buffalo, NY this year welcomes its visitors with a Ford Bronco ice sculpture located in front of the expo center.
Eric Jones built the life-sized recreation of the new Bronco using snow and ice. He said in an interview that the project was rather challenging to get right, because the whole idea was to depict the car as if descending from a snowy mound and driving to the conference center.
Both residents and visitors of New York keep flocking in to the sculpture making photos and studying it in detail. For his part, Jones appears unperturbed by the fact that the sculpture may soon crumble or melt. According to him, ‘there is something beautiful yet fleeting about art.’
