Ford claimed it designed the Bronco to conquer the worst the wilderness had to offer, launching a video shortly after the reveal showing the SUV climbing huge rocks on Hell’s Revenge trail with apparent ease.
This is why we were surprised after seeing this video. Rather than playfully running its way to the top of the trail in Moab Desert, it backed down from a slope and fell on its side.
We would expect an SUV to suffer serious damage because of the fall, but it ended up with only minor body scratches and a smashed windshield. The worst issue was the liquids leaking while it was lying down on the side.
According to the driver, he had to back down from the slope because the engine failed near the very top.
