Apocalypse Manufacturing has turned the new Ford Bronco into a tri-axle pickup truck with 400 horsepower and plenty of ground clearance.
The addition of a third axle and a truck bed stretched the Bronco to whopping 5.7 meters (18.7 feet) long. Other additions included new rugged bumpers and a body extension with windows, which slotted in between the cab and the bed. The front clip now carries additional LEDs and towing eyes, while the rear one has a spare wheel mount. The clearance gains 100 mm (4 inches) compared to stock, not least thanks to new 37-inch tires.
The stock 2.7-liter six-banger under the hood gains 85 horsepower and now churns out 406 PS (400 hp / 298 kW) thanks to an improved turbocharger setup, enlarged fuel injectors and software tweaks. The torque goes to all six wheels. The range-topping Bronco Raptor has about the same amount of thrust, but its displacement is bigger at three liters.
