This Ford Bronco is far from stock, as one can tell by its show car livery sprinkled with aftermarket logos. However, it is not nearly all show: Expedition Vehicle Outfitters built it last year together with Dana Incorporated to showcase the various off-road mods available for the model.
Starting with the livery, the choice of red, white and blue is no coincidence. It plays homage to the Rough Riders Racing Team that Ford sponsored in its numerous rally championships back in the 1990s.
Some of the technical mods include a Dana 60 front axle, Spicer drive shafts at the front, coilovers, and massive 40-inch tires. Even with the custom flared fenders, the wheels must feel downright cramped in those wells.
We will leave it to you to spot the obvious Ford Performance accessories. The show car was photographed next to its maker’s Dearborn HQ, where Ford Performance and Roush usually test new products before launch. One has to wonder if something new is coming for the Bronco soon.
