Roofnest has unveiled the Falcon 2, a completely redesigned variant of its original Falcon roof tent from 2019. Prices start from $3,595 for a model 223 cm (87.1”) long, 127 cm (49.6”) wide and 22 cm (8.6”) tall when folded down.
You can pay $3,795 and get an XL version that’s 152 cm (59.4”) wide for extra sleeping comfort. Both come based on an aluminum frame like the one found in the range-topping Falcon Pro model. There are pockets for smaller items inside, and a telescopic access ladder is included in the shipment as well.
Roofnest uses a special dense polycotton material for the walls that efficiently blocks off sunrays and wards off water. A memory foam mattress ensures good sleep, and there are six storage pockets for your miscellanea. Last but not least, there are LED stripes for ambient lighting that run on regular batteries.
Orders are already open. The Roofnest Falcon 2 is marketed as an ideal match for the new Ford Bronco, but as the video here suggests, it can be installed on a variety of larger vehicles, such as this Toyota SUV.
